We mainly manufacture using two fiber composite materials: Fiberglass (GFRP), which serves as a robust, cost-effective base for painting, and Carbon Fiber (CFRP), for the lowest weight and exclusive visible-weave aesthetics.

No, we specialize in the manufacturing of fiber composite parts. The painting should be carried out locally by an experienced painter who matches the vehicle’s existing color to avoid any discrepancies in the finish.

Due to the complex nature of Fiberglass/Carbon parts and the manufacturing tolerances of your vehicle, minor adjustments, while unlikely, are possible and should be factored into the installation process, as is common practice in the industry.

The DMC Audi TT 8N Widebody Kit was developed as a cohesive unit and only fits as a complete package. The reason is that the Widebody Kit is approximately 4.5 cm to 5 cm wider (per side) than the factory parts. However, it is secured to the OEM mounting points as usual. As with almost all Widebody Kits, the rear wheel arches are cut out, welded, sealed, and the new wheel arches are fitted and bonded with special 2K adhesive.

We therefore advise our customers against purchasing the Widebody Kit parts individually.

For dedicated tinkerers, we can provide “corner pieces” that allow compatibility between the wide Widebody Kit side panels and the original front and rear bumpers. However, these are not final products and require individual and/or professional rework.
